Nationals are next March 10-14th and I will be there wearing lots of diferent hats. Firstly to support our young paddlers from around the country and our new NSW NTID (National Talent Identification) group as well as assist as a board member and with the sprint committee. Also I will obviously be having a splash myself after being lucky enough to team up with Jo Brigden Jones our best our country's current outstanding female paddler to win the K2 200m at the GP and love these 200m!

CHANGE OF FOCUS ONCE AGAIN! BUT ALWAYS FOCUS ON THE GOOD!

Life is just want you make it and I'm very happy to say that once again life is full of fun and challenges for our family! We are now off to live in Hawaii! Guy will be coaching the boys from the US through to London Olympics and I will be coaching HCKT and hopefully assisting some athletes to live out their Olympic dreams as well.

Change of Focus

What are you foucsing on right now? Sure my Olympic bid was taking lots of my focus for along time BUT it's great to also be able to redirect that passion to other areas. Now I'm focusing on what I want to leave this world!

Full Steam Ahead

It's full steam ahead with new challenges and family fun. The future business ideas are starting to formulate and as I'm still training hard things are very busy. As my big picture passion has always been to help others dream, strive and achieve lofty goals, the time has come to start up "health coaching" - a culmination of fitness training and NLP (neuro-linguistic programming). I have been "lucky" enough to wake up every morning looking forward to a great day. I am then able to give my dreams everything I can knowing I am happy with the person I am. I believe this lifestyle is a learned skill and with my training as a teacher, elite sportsperson and now with the NLP qualification I feel I can change others lives for the better.

Well, well well!

This is definitely one of those times in your life when your emotions are heightened and your whole life, your dreams, priorities and who you really are, all fill your mind and make you look and ask lots of questions!

Yesterday I felt fantastic from the second I opened my eyes as I believed by the end of the day I would become a three time Olympian. I knew I had made the choices along my journey to do everything I possibly could and left no stone unturned. I had the best team to support me in every way and now it was my chance to enjoy doing the job.

World Champ Win and Manly TOO!

What a great few weeks I have had here in Hawaii. First getting back to my Hawaiian Ohana (Family) which is all the wonderful people we know here in Hawaii and my unbelievable Team Bradley.Then winning the Na Wahine O Ke Kai (which is considered the World Championships) in Outrigger Paddling and getting the record. And thirdly Manly coming through with the goods! Now enjoying family and awaiting the Men's race and the challenge of coaching Guy's Crew across the channel. It's all great fun!

“Fun and Games At Arranounbai School”

Manly Sea Eagles players and Eagles Angels took time out to enjoy fun and games at the Arranounbai School at Allambie this Thursday. As everyone is aware the Manly Sea Eagles have raised funds for this wonderful school - it is a multifunction educational centre for students from pre- school to year 12 and specialises in catering for students with physical disabilities and medical conditions.

The day was set aside for fun activities like face painting, petting zoos, swings, jumping castles, donuts and lots of autographs.

Manly Captain Matty Orford, along with Adam Cuthbertson, Heath L'Estrange and Vic Mauro were joined by myself and fellow Angel Nici Andronicus. Also present was Manly's number one fan and good luck charm - Alex, who of course had his face painted in maroon and white.

Adam Cuthbertson let himself be turned into a clown and only hoped it would remain on his face in time for him to catch up with team mate Glenn Stewart who we understand is not keen on clowns! Heath got in touch with his 'flower power' days and opted for a gorgeous face paint design of butterflies. Matty and Vic were conspicuously absent from the face painting area but were hard pressed to get away from the animal petting zoo and the swings!

I met a wonderful lady called Donalda who's 4 year old boy Riley attends the school - Riley has a heart disease. The parents of these special kids are just amazing - they devote their time, love and care for their own children and to this wonderful community school that provides the care and education for 55 kids! They are real heroes in life - talk about coming down to earth!

We enjoyed a healthy lunch with all the "Beautiful' Beauty editors at the Gazebo Hotel before I gave them a introduction to "Feeling beautiful from the Inside." The products all look, smell and feel great so watch out in your shops for "Yes for Carrots"!

MC Manly Fundraising Evening

GREAT NIGHT!

Well Mike for Manly has already made a great impact on the Community with a wonderful inititive in this Annual Fundraising Event! It was sold out and deservedly so with unbelievable food, entertainment and of course people. The 2 worthy causes chosen to receive the funds from the evening where also amazing with the Life Saving Clubs and Manly Community Centre. I'm very happy to be party of a great community and with the leadership I am seeing in Mike I am very excited about our future.
