Well I’m really living the journey and as we all know we make choices on how we live everyday and I’m so glad I made the choice to pursue this dream. I have wonderful people around me every minute of the day, I’m really learning more about myself and challenging myself in so many more ways than “just the physical” and I’m loving the anticipation of everyday.
 
We have just had the opening of our new extensions on the Manly Warringah Kayak Club and it’s wonderful to see our sport growing in all directions and the great support and people helping this community be a great place to live!

Now it’s the final preparations for the National championships and the Olympic Qualifications. Guy has our whole team extremely well prepared and all looking forward to doing “PB’s” (personal bests) which is what we are all striving for- right! We head out to Penrith next week for the heats and semi’s on the Wed- Fri and then the finals on the Saturday and Sunday. Thanks again to my family and friends whom have helped me to get to this position and I can assure you I’ll be going for it!
